Video – Triple Chinese blast…

Video captures massive power station implosion.

Two 85-meter-high cooling towers and a 180-meter-high chimney were demolished by controlled blasting in a coal-fired power plant in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Tuesday.

The demolition was part of the region’s efforts to reduce air pollution. The power plant was constructed under the help of the Soviet Union in 1951.
