New contender for demolition video of the year…
Utterly beautiful new video showing a wrecking ball in action in Baltimore.
This is absolutely stunning. Great footage, majestic soundtrack, and a wrecking ball used with accuracy and care. This could become a Demolition News classic!

I could watch that for hours, although I would recommend blowing it up to full screen size. I also though I recognised the soundtrack; anyone know what it is….sounds like it’s from a movie, Gladiator or something similar?

I have to admit, I was entertained by this 5 minute video. However I was bored about 2 minutes into it. Its a nice piece of film with some creative views but it is being told by that of a news reporter that focuses more on the people watching the destruction than the task at hand.
It gave me a lot of great ideas for future shooting vantage points, thats for sure. The split screens were nice for showing different vantage points, but the film itself never quite ‘did it’ for me.

All fair comments…probably a bit like me reading the newspaper and thinking “yeah, good article, but I wouldn’t have written it quite like that” I guess!
Just do me one small favour – If you shoot anything new, tell me about it FIRST!!
