EDA pulls plug…

Annual convention postponed over ongoing OVID-19 concerns.

The European Demolition Association (EDA) has announced that it has postponed its annual convention amidst ongoing Coronavirus fears.

In a statement on the association’s website, the EDA says:

“…Due to the sanitary situation generated by the Covid-19 and its consequences in Europe and the world, the EDA Board of Directors has decided to cancel this year’s annual event, as the safety of attendees and sponsors is paramount.

Despite having moved it from June to September, the association sincerely believes that it is the best and most sensible thing to do given the current circumstances…”

The annual convention – entitled Demolition Decontamination Recycling – was scheduled to take place in Paris, France on 15/16 September this year.

The EDA says itis working on the next annual event, which will take place from 10th to 12th June 2021, in Belgrade (Serbia).
