Acting as implosion contractor to Property Owner, J.K. Cement Works of Delhi, India, the company felled a 73 metre tall damaged, post-tensioned controlled flow (CF) silo in Muddapur, Karnataka, India at 7:00 AM on Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
Prior to the demolition, CDI designed temporary supports to carry the combined silo/product load of 30,000 metric tons during rotation of the structure away from pre-heater and bag plant structures.
