As part of the Queensferry Crossing upgrade, a concrete and steel structure – the glamorously named FT07 – had to be demolished to allow the M90 motorway to marry up with the new Crossing.
Built in the 1960, the bridge had previously carried the A90 approach to the Forth Road Bridge over Ferrytoll junction.
It was removed over a 55-hour possession by a fleet of six excavators.
