Blast drops bridge into waters below.
The Donora-Webster Bridge that once connected Washington and Westmoreland Counties has been imploded.
The 110-year-old bridge over the Monongahela River had been closed since 2009 because it was deteriorating.
The implosion utilised 387 charges and 72 lbs. of explosives to send the debris into the river below.
