Roof collapses while derelict building is being inspected.
Officials are thanking their lucky stars this morning after a building they were inspecting in Waverly partially collapsed while they were on the roof.
The derelict building had lain empty for two years and was being inspected prior to a planned demolition. Now, having been rendered unsafe by the partial roof collapse, emergency demolition is underway:
