Breaking News – Messiah builds a Fortress…

High reach hire specialist confirms arrival of “game-changing” attachments.

Essex-based high reach excavator hire specialist Messiah Corporation will be extending its product offering with the arrival of four new Fortress-branded attachments from Shearcore.

The first of their kind in Europe, the attachments include two FC25 crackers, and a pair of FS25 shears. Purchased to complement Messiah’s high reach excavator fleet, both weigh in at 2.8 tonnes and are said to have the power of a 4.5 tonne tool.

“These are without doubt the best demolition attachments in the world, and we will have the first units in Europe,” says Messiah Corporations Tony O’Sullivan. “The first units will be available for demonstration in January 2018 while the other two will be going into our hire fleet.”

DemolitionNews understands that the deal for these first models was secured just last night in a meeting between O’Sullivan and attachments veteran and innovator Bruce Bacon.

“Bruce Bacon designed, built and owned La Bounty, then Genesis and now Fortress,” O’Sullivan says. “Together with lead design engineer Ross Christenson, he is an attachments pioneer. Fortress is the king of shears. Demolition customers will be shocked at just how powerful they are.”
