Keltbray bags first HS2 contract…

Demolition giant to carry out demolition works at Euston Station.

The £55 billion HS2 rail project, which will provide faster links from London to Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds, has awarded its first demolition contract. And Keltbray has won the prestigious project.

According to Construction News, Keltbray will carry out the £2 million contract to demolish the Vezey Wing of the National Temperance Hospital which currently sits on the site of the proposed new Euston station.

The job will be the first phase of demolition work at the site and will begin in the autumn.
