Windmill Group fears realised…

Company enters into creditors’ voluntary liquidation.

As we reported exclusively on Friday last week, Manchester-based Windmill Group has appointed insolvency practitioners as the first step towards a creditors’ voluntary liquidation.

According to a letter from the appointed insolvency practitioner – Dow Schofield Watts – it has been instructed to assist in the convening of a meeting of creditors, and the preparation of a report and Statement of Affairs for presentation at the meeting which is scheduled for 10 November 2015.

The purpose of the meeting is to appoint a liquidator and, if the creditors wish, a liquidation committee.

There is, as yet, no word on the fate of the staff of the company although Demolition-Jobs.co.uk will do all it can to find them alternative employment.
