Work to start on iconic Reading landmark this month.
Demolition of the Metal Box building is set to begin this month as it makes way for a major new office development.
Developer Bell Hammer and its development partner M&G Real Estate (formerly PruPIM) plan to start work clearing the site for the new 185,000 sq ft building, which will be known as No.1 Forbury Place.
Planning permission was granted earlier this year and completion of the building is planned for spring 2015. Property agents will attend a launch of the new building this week.
