This is one April Fool Stourbridge residents won’t forget in a hurry.
Now it’s true that, like most journalists, we spent most of 1 April hunkered down in the hope of avoiding getting pranked – We’re pretty good at dishing it out but not quite so hot at taking it. But that’s no excuse for missing an explosive demolition contract that took place on April Fool’s Day under our very noses (well, in Stourbridge, West Midlands at least).
As you can see, the work was carried out by Birmingham-based DSM Demolition.
