Industry claims life of Australian worker.
A man has died after he was allegedly struck by an excavator bucket at a demolition site in Sydney’s south west.
An Ambulance spokeswoman said they responded to reports of a man, believed to be in his 30s, being struck in the head with an excavator bucket at Riverside Drive, Airds about 2.50pm.
“Initial inquiries indicate that the male worker was struck by an excavator bucket and died on the scene as a result of his injuries,” a spokesman said.
