Cancer cluster building demolished…
An old house at the centre of a cancer cluster scare at Atherton Fire Station in Cairns, Australia has been demolished.
Cairns-based demolition experts began removing asbestos from the house adjoining the fire station on Friday and finished the job yesterday with an excavator.

Unapproved asbestos method exposes thousands to cancer risk…

Asbestos delays Illinois demolition works…
The demolition of two dilapidated buildings in Homer, Illinois is on hold while village officials rewrite the bid specifications and allow contractors to update their bids. The lowest bid received for the work did not specify costs for removal of asbestos debris.
