People power halts Aussie demolition…

Frustrated residents who use Kital Road bridge near Allora in Australia gathered yesterday before 6am to halt the crossing’s demolition. The bridge was closed yesterday awaiting demolition but this has now been delayed until further notice because of the residents’ actions. Full story here.

A builder who demolished his handiwork after a customer did not pay has had more than £3m of unpaid bills registered on his website.
