A man has been killed in an accident on a site operated by Hampshire-based R Collard.
The accident occurred yesterday afternoon at a site in Slough, Berkshire. No details of the incident are available at this time.
However, R Collard has issued a statement that reads:
It is with great sadness that we confirm that yesterday, a valued employee working for our contracting division on the Buckingham Road site in Slough was involved in an incident and later passed away.
The incident is presently being investigated by the Police in consultation with the Health and Safety Executive, and we are fully co-operating with these authorities.
Our thoughts are with the family, friends and colleagues of the individual concerned at this extremely difficult time.
The site has been closed to facilitate the investigation and will remain closed until further notice.
