As regular readers will know, here at Demolition News Towers we are firm believers that time is merely an illusion; that past, present and future are mere figments of our collective imaginations. Which is why we can often be found still beating this damnable keyboard until the early hours of the morning.
But even with our limited grasp of the space-time continuum, we would baulk at the thought of devoting 3,000 of our precious (yet imaginary) hours to the creation of a wooden 1:16 scale model of a Caterpillar 5230B front shovel.
Despite the fact that he has whittled away the equivalent of 33 whole soccer matches or 3,000 power naps with this endeavour, we have to admire Rob Fisher’s artistry.
