Sinclair takes EDA top job…

European Demolition Association (EDA) elects new President from the UK.

EDA President 2016William Sinclair, the 47 year old Scotsman, has succeeded Pilar de la Cruz – the EDA’s first lady President – to become the 17th President of the EDA in the organisations 40th year.

Sinclair was elected President at the EDA’s annual conference on 10th June, 2016. The conference was appropriately held in Sinclair’s hometown of Glasgow, Scotland.

Sinclair – a fourth generation demolition man – completes an industry first, succeeding his father in both the NFDC and EDA Presidencies; establishing the Scottish family as one of the true Demolition Dynasties.

“The EDA will meet the challenge ahead as it has always done – with educational project okessays.com teamwork and collaboration – supported of course by a strong Board of Directors and active Secretariat,” Sinclair said at the conference. “I am proud of our demolition industry and I want to tell the outside world about it. As an industry we have developed professionalism, specialism and expertise, and I want to educate clients of the innovation and initiatives that the demolition industry applies everyday on our sites. We do not live in a perfect world, but as an industry, our ambition is to continually improve, with safety of our operatives and operations at the forefront of our objectives.
