Stadium demolition continues with cable cutting blast.
While the eyes of the world were focused on the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for last night’s Seahawks demolition of the Broncos to claim the Vince Lombardi trophy in the 48th SuperBowl, crews were carrying out a demolition of their own at the MetroDome.
Following the deflation of the stadium’s domed roof just over a week ago, the cable stays that held the roof aloft were dropped in a controlled explosion.
